I first started writing whilst I was working on cruise ships as we
spent quite a lot of time at sea. I spent six years working for various
shipping companies and in between the island hopping, the partying, and
the competitive games of Risk and Poker (until I got banned for winning
too much!) with fellow crewmen, I would sit in my cabin and pen letters
to friends and occasionally write. It wasn’t until a long time
after I left the high seas that I began to write novels. My first foray
into writing a novel came about by chance when I developed a board game
called Inside Information, I was struggling to get my board game
through the agent process in order to pitch it to the games companies
and I needed to get noticed. It was then
that I hit upon the idea of writing a novel in order to promote my
game. However, shortly before I finished the novel Inside Information,
I began to write The Equation of Murder. Thus began a new journey for me.
Once I’d started writing The Equation of Murder I didn’t
want to stop until I’d completed it and now I’m proud that it is my
first novel to be published. It’s a provocative, challenging, and sad
book and there are two more novels on the way.
I’m currently seeking to develop the film.
The Equation of Murder - the story of a serial killer.
